Footsteps in the hallway, then a tiny voice...
"Excuse me," she said, "Daddy, I have to poop."
"Okay," I reassured her, "that's okay, you can go. Just turn the light on. Thanks for telling me."
"Sure," she said, shrugging, then added, "I'm going to leave the door open Dad, in case you want to talk to me."
"Sure," I said.
